We are working on behalf of a school in the YO60 area who are looking for a Teaching Assistant for a temp to perm opportunity to support a little boy in Year 1 on the autistic spectrum.
He requires stability and support with behaviour and routines, initially only on a Wednesday but this is likely to change to Monday – Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, the successful candidate will work as a general Teaching Assistant in a nursery / KS1 setting.
The role is offered initially on a supply basis but with a view to becoming permanent. It may be possible to split the role between two people with one person working Monday to Wednesday and the other Thursday and Friday.
The school is situated in a beautiful setting and would require someone with their own transport as it is not served well by public transport.
